At 7:30 am on May 7th, the 2023 Xiaogan Marathon with the theme of "Filial Piety Proud in the World, Leading the Way" fired its gun and started running at the Xiaogan Cultural Center.

This is the first time that Xiaogan has held a marathon event, which has created a brand event with high starting point, high standards, and high quality in accordance with the requirements of "safety, green, enthusiasm, and civilization". More than 15000 contestants from 7 countries including China, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Canada, Kenya, the United States, and Japan participated in the competition.
