On November 15th, the 2025 Academic Annual Conference and the 17th "Smart Grid" Development Forum of the Hubei Institute of Electrical Technology, hosted by the Hubei Institute of Electrical Technology and organized by Dayu Electric, were held at Hubei Institute of Engineering. More than 100 provincial and municipal leaders, experts, scholars and enterprise representatives, including Fan Mingwu, academician of the CAE Member, Sun Jiaxiang, vice chairman of the Hubei Association for Science and Technology, Wang Xuefan, chairman of the Hubei Institute of Electrical Technology, Chen Shi, vice chairman of the Xiaogan CPPCC and chairman of the Municipal Association for Science and Technology, and Wang Haibo, president of the Hubei Institute of Engineering, attended the meeting. Wang Yihua, Chairman of Dayu Electric Company, Wang Qin, General Manager, Li Guojun, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and Xiao Shaobing, Supervisor, attended the meeting.

At the opening ceremony, Chairman Wang Yihua delivered a speech as a representative of the company. In the keynote report, Professor Fan Mingwu, an academician of the CAE Member and professor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, explained the innovative application of nuclear technology in tumor treatment, medical imaging and other fields in simple terms with the title "Application of nuclear technology in medicine", showing a broad prospect of subject technology integration. Li Chongbo, the Chief Engineer of the company, gave an in-depth discussion on the role, key technical challenges, application solutions, and future development trends of Dayu Electric's ultra high power frequency converter in air energy storage systems under the title of "Application of Ultra High Power Frequency Converter for Air Energy Storage". Experts and scholars from other industries also brought academic sharing covering cutting-edge fields such as nuclear technology applications, hydrogen energy industry, zinc ion battery research, new energy storage, and new energy vehicles.

After the meeting, the attending guests visited and exchanged ideas with the company.
