By controlling the terminal voltage of the motor, the starting current is actually controlled. When the starting current is 2~3 times the rated current (about 1.5 when necessary), it is much lower than the full voltage starting current (5~7 times the rated current). Rated current). As a result, the voltage drop of the power grid during starting is greatly reduced, and the impact on electrical and mechanical equipment is also greatly reduced.
