Recently, the bidding results for the world's first 300 megawatt non supplementary combustion compressed air energy storage demonstration project electrical control system located in Yingcheng, Hubei Province showed that Dayu Electric won the bid! This project is provided by Shaangu Power with 8 sets of compressors, with a maximum motor power of 53MW. Dayu Electric is equipped with 2 sets of 25MW high-voltage high-power frequency converters. Dayu Electric winning the bid for this project means that the company has achieved significant breakthroughs in the field of new energy, created new benchmark performance, and made new contributions to the localization of large-scale equipment.

The demonstration project is invested by China Energy Engineering Corporation's subsidiary, Shuke Group, with a total investment of 1.8 billion yuan. The first phase of the project has a construction period of 18 months, and plans to build a 300 MW/1500 MW compressed air power generation unit, as well as supporting energy storage and power generation production areas, auxiliary production areas, and ancillary infrastructure.         The demonstration project adopts adiabatic compression technology, with a designed energy efficiency conversion efficiency of over 70%. The single machine power/energy storage scale will achieve the world's first single machine power, energy storage scale, and conversion efficiency in the field of non supplementary combustion compressed air energy storage. After completion, the expected annual power generation can reach 500 million kilowatt hours, which will effectively promote the development of green economy and the construction of energy storage bases in central China, playing an important role in the construction of Hubei's new power system.
